Most “websites” are brochures that happen to live online. We build websites that work — engineered for SEO, optimised for conversion, fast on mobile, and structured so your marketing team can actually use them. The platform is usually WordPress; the standard is always senior development.

What separates a website that works from one that doesn’t

If your needs are simpler — a small marketing site that almost never changes — we sometimes recommend a static HTML build instead. Faster, cheaper to host, less to maintain.

If you’re selling products, you should be looking at Shopify or WooCommerce, not a generic marketing site.

How is “website development” different from your “WordPress development” service?

Significant overlap. Most websites we build are on WordPress, so the two services share a lot of the underlying delivery. “Website development” is the right entry point if you think in terms of “I need a website” — we’ll recommend the platform based on your needs. “WordPress development” is the right entry point if you’ve already decided WordPress is the platform and want to focus on what kind of WordPress build.

What platform do you recommend for a marketing website?

For most clients, WordPress — because it gives editorial flexibility your team can use without depending on us. For very simple sites that rarely change, a static HTML build is sometimes a better fit. For ecommerce, Shopify or WooCommerce. We make the recommendation based on your content frequency, team size, technical comfort, and budget.

Do you do design as well as development?

Yes. Design and development are one delivery. Our design process produces hi-fi designs in Figma — homepage, key page templates, components — that are reviewed and approved before any code is written. We don’t hand off generic templates and ask you to imagine the result.

Can you redesign my existing site without losing SEO?

Yes. SEO-safe redesigns are one of our most common projects. We audit your existing URL structure and rankings, build a redirect plan before launch, preserve content and metadata where possible, and monitor Search Console for 60 days post-launch to catch any issues. Done carelessly, redesigns destroy rankings — we plan to make sure that doesn’t happen.

How long does a typical marketing website take to build?

A focused marketing site (10–20 pages, custom design, properly engineered) usually takes 4–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites with deeper content needs or custom integrations run 8–12 weeks. We share a written timeline before kickoff, broken down by phase.

A small custom marketing site typically starts in the mid four-figure USD range. Mid-sized corporate sites with 30+ pages, custom design and full SEO setup sit in the low-to-mid five figures. Larger sites with multi-language, custom integrations, or complex content models scale from there. Every quote is fixed-fee with a written scope.
